the Green and Adamthwaite families

The Adamthwaites are known to have lived in Westmorland (Ravonstonedale, Kirkby Stephen, Brough) from middle ages to present. This family migrated to Co. Durham in about 1865 but other family members moved to Australia and New Zealand. Also: Green (from Ireland), Carter, Mason, Dobson, Robinson, Hunter, Grime, Fothergill, Thwaites, Keasley (all from Westmorland).
