There are two possibilities:

• An Edward Johnstone was baptised at Thame in 1724, the son of Edward (Oxford Records)

• An Edward Johnstone wa baptised at Chalgrove in 1725, son of Edward and Mary (IGI)

Abraham Chapman

Born~1703, bap 4 apr 1703 at St Catherine Towersey, father Henry mother Susannah (source parish records Oxon Record Centre)

Married Mary Wheatley of Towersey on 20 may 1731 at Thame (source parish records Oxon Record Centre)

An Abraham Chapman (senior) was buried 23 dec 1788 at St Catherine Towersey (source parish records Oxon Record Centre)

In his Will, Abraham Chapman bequeathed all his household goods and chattels and implements of husbandary to be shared equally between his sons Daniel and Henry, requiring them to pay his daughter Susannah £30 and his grandson John Chapman £5 (source Last Will and Testament of Abraham Chapman, proved 13 Aug 1789 – Pamela)

Mary Wheatley

Born 1698, bap 22 Jun 1698 at St Catherine’s Towersey, dau of William Wheatley and Hannah (source OFHS – Pamela)

Mary Chapman died in 1786 and was buried 29 Jan 1786 at St Catherines Towersey (source OFHS – Pamela)
