Note: In the 1881 census, there were a number of members of the North family still living in Towersey - notably Caleb North, 57, publican at the Three Horseshoes and George North, 51, publican at the Black Horse Inn. here was also a William North, 51, who was a farmer of 50 acres, and living at the Grange in Towersey was Frederick North, 45 a farm bailiff

Chapman Born 1637, ap 8 Jan 1637 in Radnage, Bucks, son of Daniel Chapman and Margaret (source LDS film St Mary’s Radnage – Pamela) Married to Jane Watts 24 Jun 1667 at Radnage, Bucks Henry Chapman was buried 26 jun 1708 at Radnage, Bucks (source LDS film St Mary’s Radnage – Pamela) According to his will made in 1707, he had sons Henry, Daniel and Mary and a grandson Thomas Burges the younger of Radnor.
